Ken Roczen was very vocal when he was struggling with an undiagnosed issue earlier in the season, but most felt as though that was no longer a problem when the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross series hit Denver for the fifteenth round of seventeen. Roczen had enjoyed a handful of successful weeks in succession and looked like his former self. Denver was a quiet event for him though and prompted him to release the following statement on social media.

"We finally have an off weekend. I'm trying to get my body better in the next couple weeks. I have been struggling with certain things for the past couple months. It's been really tough going to the races and feeling the way that I have been. We are slowly starting to figure out what's going on. Things like this take a long time as well as fixing it doesn't happen overnight either. I haven't talked much about it, because that doesn't make it any better on race day. When I get this fixed and get some consistency in my everyday program we will be in a good position to start winning. I know it. It's tough to get things better when you have an issue racing 15 weekends in a row."

Roczen now sits fourth in the premier-class standings and trails third place, Marvin Musquin, by twenty-six points, but has a cushion of twenty-eight points over Blake Baggett in fifth. Two rounds remain.
